Contact and identification data — your name, phone number, email address, and service address, provided when you contact us via our website form, by phone, or by email.
Service records — notes taken during or after a home visit, including technical observations about your property's electrical installation, for the purpose of providing written summaries and maintaining service continuity.
Communication records — records of correspondence between you and our team for the purpose of responding to enquiries and managing service arrangements.
Website usage data — anonymised analytics data collected through cookies and third-party tools (Google Analytics 4), as described in our Cookie Policy. This data does not directly identify you.
Section 03
How We Use Your Data
We use personal data collected for the following purposes:
Service delivery — to arrange, conduct, and follow up on electrical service visits to your home.
Communication — to respond to your enquiries, confirm appointments, and deliver written service summaries.
Service continuity — to maintain records that support any follow-up visits or reference to previous work at your property.
Website improvement — to understand how visitors use our website through aggregated, anonymised analytics, allowing us to improve the information we provide.
We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not use it for unsolicited marketing communications.
Section 04
Legal Basis for Processing
Under the PDPA 2010, we process your personal data on the following basis:
Consent — when you submit an enquiry through our website contact form, you consent to our processing your contact details to respond to you and, where applicable, arrange a service visit.
Contractual necessity — once a service is engaged, processing your name, contact details, and service address is necessary to fulfil the agreed scope of work.
Legitimate interest — maintaining records of completed work at a property serves the legitimate interests of both Fennel Rokse and the homeowner, including reference for future visits and property transaction purposes.
Section 05
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data to any third parties. We do not share your personal data with any third party for marketing or commercial purposes unrelated to your service.
We may share your data with the following categories of third parties only where necessary:
Analytics providers — Google Analytics 4 processes anonymised usage data on our behalf subject to Google's data processing terms. This data does not identify individual visitors by name or contact information.
Advertising platforms — where you have consented to analytics and advertising cookies, Facebook Pixel and Microsoft Bing Ads may process pseudonymous interaction data for campaign measurement purposes.
Legal obligations — we may disclose your personal data if required to do so by applicable Malaysian law, regulatory authority, or court order.
Section 06
Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as it is necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
Enquiry records that do not progress to a service engagement are retained for up to twelve months, after which they are securely deleted.
Service records — including written summaries and technician notes — are retained for a period of five years from the date of the visit, to support follow-up service visits and any property-related reference needs.
Analytics data is retained in accordance with Google Analytics 4's standard data retention settings (26 months by default) and is anonymised throughout.
Section 07

Right of correction — you may request that inaccurate or incomplete personal data be corrected.
Right to limit processing — you may request that we stop using your data for direct communication purposes.
