Fennel Rokse
ELECTRICIAN

Terms & Conditions

These terms govern the service relationship between Fennel Rokse and clients engaging our home electrical services. They are written to be clear and straightforward.

Last updated: April 2026

Section 01

Interpretation

In these Terms and Conditions, the following terms have the meaning given below:

"Fennel Rokse," "we," "us," or "our" refers to the electrical services practice operating under that name at 13 Jalan Kampung Baru, 50300 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

"Client" or "you" refers to the individual or household engaging Fennel Rokse for home electrical services.

"Service" refers to any of the electrical services described on the Fennel Rokse website or confirmed by written or verbal agreement between Fennel Rokse and the client.

"Written summary" refers to the service documentation delivered to the client following a completed visit.

Section 02

Service Engagement

A service engagement begins when both parties confirm a visit date, time, and service scope — typically via phone, email, or the website contact form. This constitutes an agreement to proceed under these Terms and Conditions.

Submitting an enquiry through the website contact form does not constitute a confirmed booking. Confirmation requires a direct response from the Fennel Rokse team specifying agreed details.

Fennel Rokse reserves the right to decline any engagement at its discretion, particularly where the proposed work falls outside the technical scope of the services offered or would not comply with Malaysian electrical regulations.

Section 03

Scope of Work

The scope of each service is agreed between the client and Fennel Rokse prior to, or at the commencement of, the visit. Stated service descriptions on the website are indicative of typical scope and may be adjusted by agreement to suit the specific conditions of the property.

Where the technician identifies conditions during a visit that would require a material expansion of scope — for example, discovering a fault not previously disclosed — the technician will inform the client and no additional work will be carried out without explicit client agreement.

All work is carried out in compliance with the applicable requirements of the Electricity Supply Act 1990 and associated Malaysian regulations.

Section 04

Pricing & Payment

Prices stated on the website are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of all standard labour for the described service scope. USD equivalents shown are indicative only and subject to exchange rate variation.

Prices do not include the cost of materials, replacement components, or client-supplied items unless explicitly stated in the confirmed engagement. Any materials required during a visit will be discussed with the client before being sourced or charged.

Payment is due upon completion of the service visit. Accepted methods of payment will be confirmed at the time of booking. An invoice or receipt will be provided for every completed service.

Fennel Rokse reserves the right to revise prices at any time. Price changes will not affect services already confirmed by written or verbal agreement.

Section 05

Client Obligations

The client agrees to:

Provide accurate information about the property and the nature of the work required when making an enquiry or confirming a booking.

Ensure that a responsible adult is present at the property for the duration of the service visit.

Provide reasonable access to the areas of the property relevant to the agreed scope, including the main electrical panel where required.

Disclose any known pre-existing conditions, faults, or non-standard installations that are relevant to the service being undertaken.

Where pets are present, make reasonable arrangements to ensure they do not interfere with the technician's work or access to working areas.

Section 06

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Clients may cancel or reschedule a confirmed booking at no charge provided at least 24 hours' notice is given before the scheduled visit time. Notice should be provided by phone or email to the contact details listed on this website.

Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, or where the technician arrives at the property and is unable to access it or begin work due to circumstances within the client's control, may be subject to a call-out fee to cover travel and time allocation costs. This fee will be communicated clearly at the time of booking confirmation.

Fennel Rokse reserves the right to reschedule visits in circumstances outside its reasonable control, including illness, traffic conditions making the visit impractical on the day, or safety concerns identified on arrival. We will notify the client as promptly as possible and offer the earliest available alternative slot.

Section 07

Workmanship

Fennel Rokse carries out all work with reasonable care and skill appropriate to a registered electrical contractor operating in Malaysia. All installation work is carried out in accordance with the applicable requirements of the Electricity Supply Act 1990 and associated subsidiary legislation.

Where a client identifies a concern with completed work within 30 days of the visit date, they should contact us promptly. Fennel Rokse will review the concern and, where the issue is determined to fall within the scope of completed work and has arisen from an error in workmanship, will return to remedy it at no additional charge.

This workmanship commitment does not extend to situations where the issue has arisen from subsequent modifications to the installation by a third party, misuse, or events outside the scope of the original service.

Section 08

Liability

Fennel Rokse carries public liability insurance appropriate to the scope of home electrical services undertaken. Details are available on request.

Our liability in relation to any service visit is limited to direct loss or damage arising from our technician's negligence during the visit. We do not accept liability for pre-existing faults or conditions in the property's electrical installation that were not part of the agreed service scope.

We do not accept liability for indirect or consequential losses arising from a service visit, except where such exclusion is not permitted by applicable Malaysian law.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Section 09

Client-Supplied Items

Fennel Rokse welcomes the installation of client-supplied fittings and accessories, including items sourced from international suppliers. Where client-supplied items are to be installed, it is the client's responsibility to ensure that the items are suitable for installation in Malaysia, comply with applicable electrical standards, and are provided in undamaged condition.

The technician will inspect client-supplied items prior to installation. If an item is assessed as unsuitable for installation — for example, due to incompatible wiring configurations, visible damage, or non-compliant specifications — the technician will advise the client accordingly. In such cases, installation will not proceed until a suitable item is provided.

Fennel Rokse does not accept responsibility for defects in client-supplied items, nor for failures arising from such defects after installation.

Section 10

Service Records

Fennel Rokse provides a written summary following each service visit. This summary is for the client's reference and is not a certificate of compliance or a guarantee of the installation's condition beyond what is described in the document.

Fennel Rokse retains a copy of service records in accordance with our Privacy Policy. These records are used solely for the purposes described in that policy and are not shared with third parties except as described therein.

Section 11

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms or to services provided by Fennel Rokse shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

In the event of any dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter through direct communication before initiating any formal legal proceedings.
